His mama must be so proud...

I have seventy bajillion pictures saved on my computer, and I'm working to back them up in case of some catastrophic hard drive failure. I neglected to do this with my old desktop before it passed; thus, I still have all sorts of goodies forever stuck on it.

Consequently, it sits on my kitchen floor since I can't bring myself to get rid of it with all my precious documents and pictures on it.

Therefore, when you visit, you'll have to step around it. Sorry 'bout that. No storage space in my little home, you see.

I backed some more up the other day, and just knew I had to share this one with the world...

(spring break '07, my senior year at Auburn...Florabama)

If you've never visited the Florabama, you owe yourself at least one visit in your lifetime. I would try to describe it for you, but this picture tells you more than I ever could. And for bringing this into your life today, you are most welcome.

  2. Wow.. Considering the fact that I live approximately an hour from Florabama, I must say, I'm a little ashamed! =)

  3. Suz, you know you'd be proud. This could be Luke in about 35 years :) Hopefully not, but we'd love him anyway!

  4. Ashley, don't fight your heritage, girl! :) Thankfully not everybody there is quite that skanky. Do you ever go to the Mullet Toss? Living just an hour away, you have no excuses!

  6. YESSSSS!!!!!! perfectly captures it! whats the restaurant there where they throw the rolls at you?? i have heard good things about that place!

and the bread recipe - MAKE it!! it really is easy after you go through one time of the guessing game. after you figure it out, its easy breezy and takes no time. i wish you lived closer. you could come over for a day of bread making and coffee drinking!!!

  9. Lauren, Lambert's in Foley is where they do the "throwed rolls". I think there are a few other locations throughout the country. Those are so good, and it's kinda fun to have to catch your food :)

Don't tempt me with a bread-making date! Next thing you know, I'll have gotten myself a sub to watch my class and will be knocking on your door...just watch out :)

  12. Annesta, the Florabama is a bar that sits right on the Florida/Alabama lines at the beach. It's wild to say the least, and trashy in an endearing way. It's one of those places where you don't have to bother getting all gussied up. Just roll straight in from the beach and you're good to go :)

We have a short week and I couldn't be more excited...MUCH-needed!!! Enjoy your time off. Hope to "see" ya again soon!
