I posted Sunday about being completely, totally overrun with ants. Okay, "completely, totally overrun" is a bit dramatic. But I did have ants, and I wanted them gone.
I'm here to report that the Borax/jelly worked like a charm! I set the little baits out Sunday night, went out of town yesterday, and returned today to an ant-free home. Yay! I'm going to put out fresh ones tonight to kill any hardy little survivors, but I'm feeling pretty optimistic that this idea is a keeper. Thanks a bunch, Make It Do!

I am going to have to remember this little experiment! I need to try something like this for spiders. We have some pretty ugly looking ones around here. Think I repinned something you pinned about this. Will let you know if it works out well!

Elizabeth, I highly recommend the Borax and jelly. Still no ants! Please let me know if you try that anti-spider "recipe" from Pinterest. I've got lots of them in my new classroom but haven't had a chance to try the spray out yet. I'd love to know if it actually works. Hope you're having a good week, friend!
